Howarth says he’s excited for metal fans to get ahold of the EP and see that there’s some quality music behind the NFL names. “I looked at them and said yeah sure we’re going to get a lot of pub but I just heard something in the music that tapped into what the kids are into today” he said. It all may sound like Free Reign is well on its way to major rock stardom but the band knows it’s still in the heavy metal minor leagues.

Metal Blade records is known forsome of metal’s heaviest bands and some of the craziest shows. This years Baptized inBeer tour will hold nothing back; with three of the label’s heavy hitters plus-three DFWlocals opening the Fort Worth show. Metal music lovers of all types will not bedisappointed; with plenty of moshing booze and metal to fill their thirsty souls. Sunday the 26th will start off with three local acts. pening the show will be new comersverthrow followed by Southern Assault then Earthrot will play before the firstMetal Blade band. The first local act may new comers to the scene but after playing as asupporting act at the recent Earthrot cd release party-verthrow-threw down and heldnothing back. Second local act to go on will be the well known guys from SouthernAssault with their rebellious but brutal southern metal.
