“I would think 10 o’clock” said Weinbaum who lives at the corner of Washington and Fifth Street steps from the stage. Ellison didn’t say if he agreed but added that “we will remember your concerns” when the chamber organizes next year’s show. Apparently it wasn’t just music sanctioned by the Clay Glass & Metal show that made noise on or after midnight. Commissioner Michael Andrzejak said he was driving through downtown about 12:35 a. and saw and heard a saxophonist playing on the street. Weinbaum said he did not hear the saxophonist adding that the band he’s referring to ended at midnight and had “at least five six pieces complete with speakers and amplifiers.

We’re ready to pack it up in a car and go. “Andrew who started playing when he was 13 bounced around from punk rock band to punk rock band locals might remember the group Subject to Change until he heard a CD from the metal band Children of Bodom. “There was neoclassical music and Mozart and metal and technicality. I thought “Screw punk music this is the I want to do’ ” he said. An early version of the band featured Andrew on lead vocals. It was during a show with the old alignment at the former Hamilton Street Cafe in Bound Brook that a representative from Roadrunner first saw the band. This show promises quality because Master are one of the most professional death metal bands in existence. Fronted by the larger than life character that is. It didn’t phase him — Speckmann has fronted bands under many names (Deathstrike Funeral Bitch Abomination Master Speckmann Thrash Project) but the core of their sound is all him personally.

Adai had proggy structures but none of the gratuitously jarring time-signature changes that seem to plague far too many prog metal bands. These guys created fantastic atmospheric passages that reminded me a bit of The Eye of Every Storm-era Neurosis or even a more arch and aggressive Jesu. Verdict: There is a majestic beauty to Adai’s music that sets it apart from most of its peers playing metal music. You can’t really go wrong with a To Be Eaten show. The band’s new drummer Justin Trujillo really had to prove himself and he was more than able and worthy.

Brendan ’Brien (yeah he produces Springsteen Rage Against the Machine and a lot of other big rock bands) produced the record and it may be the crossover success the band is looking for. If that does happen- it wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing but just don’t start doing duets with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and we’ll be cool. h yeah don’t let guitarist Adam Dukietcwicz tame down his bizarre and humorous on stage banter- that would be more of a travesty than the music.
