-based band played fairly standard melodic metal with far more self-seriousness than the previous act and suffered from an excess of guitar noise. The most noteworthy element was the use of dual vocals; guitarist Alexia Rodriguez’s voice was delicate but clear and contrasted sharply with Brandon Anderson’s tormented blistering screeches. SFS: Can you tell me more about your punk-rock past?JG: When I was 14 I started playing bass in a punk band for a year.
