For the final gig of Edinburgh’s T on the Fringe the Liquid Room was crammedwith black-clad fans of both sexes. Teenage girls at the front sportedstick-on moustaches – an Eagles tradition – but older men making horn signswith their hands didn’t appear to grasp the joke.

But for many fans the lure of the all-day festival Thursday at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach reached beyond the music. Rackets are breaking and tennis balls are flying everywhere. ” The clip will be featured on the band’s new e-card and will also be a bonus feature on its upcoming album Summon in Thunder which comes out September 18.

‘ But if "Dimebag’s" murder at a Columbus hio concert marks the day the metal music died his rowdy spirit lives on as was evident at Hard Rock Cafe on Wednesday. Abbott’s live-in girlfriend Rita Haney and his brother and band mate drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott were on hand to unveil an electric guitar belonging to the murdered guitarist among new memorabilia items installed at the restaurant. About 150 fans clamored near the Hard Rock stage for the afternoon presentation to make a connection that even they couldn’t always quite explain. "Dime" as he was known was a different kind of rock god — accessible and down-to-earth. "I had to be here" said Rocky Rios 22.

Joining the Korn at Dog Jam ‘07 sponsored by radio station Big Dog 106 is Hellyeah Five Finger Death Punch and Droid. The California quintet Korn released its self-titled debut album in 1994. Much like the opening song “Blind” stated ready or not the band burst onto the national music scene and changed the face of music by helping push out grunge and bringing in the nu-metal or alt-metal movement. Korn is touring behind its untitled eighth studio album which hit stores July 31 and reached the No. 2 position on The Billboard 200 albums chart. Its 2005 release “See You on the ther Side” achieved multi-platinum status. The band performed in Houston on Aug… The band is also very conscious of the environment as Korn decided to tour green by fueling all 16 vehicles on the Family Values Tour with bio-diesel in hopes of lessening the impact on the environment during its cross country trek. The Texas-based band Hellyeah features Vinnie Paul Abbott on drums former drummer of Pantera and the brother of arguably the greatest guitarist ever the late “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. Abbott formed the band in 2006 with members of the metal bands Mudvayne and Nothingface and released its self-titled debut album in April. ne more band is expected to be announced by Coondog Productions prior to the concert. The concert series began in 2001 as Texas Dog Jam which featured strictly Texas artists including two local battle of the band winners and was held at the Southeast Texas State Fair Grounds. In 2003 the concert series now known as Dog Jam had relocated to Ford Park. Attendance at Dog Jam 3 was more than 7500 people.
